This position requires a dynamic and motivated
self-starter who is capable of working both independently and with a team. The
ideal candidate is an energetic and creative individual who is focused,
organized and an effective communicator. This position will be required to
maintain a strong operational and cultural understanding to best meet the
needs of the business.
This position will require the ability to complete
multiple cross-functional projects while maintaining the general requirements
of the position in a time-sensitive environment. Candidates must have 3-5 years of previous Human Resources
Management experience.

Summary
This position requires a dynamic
and motivated bi-lingual, (Spanish speaking), self-starter who is capable of
working both alone and with the HR/Training team. The HR generalist is a
cross-functional position that works with both stores and growing facilities to
complete multiple projects while maintaining the general requirements of the
position in a time-sensitive environment.
Responsibilities
- Manages all workers' compensation
claims including investigations, reporting, and communication, as
necessary.
- Benefits administration and
processes all Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRA) claims.
- Manages and oversees all OSHA
requirements.
- Processes all leaves of absence
including Family Medical Leave (FMLA) and California Family Rights Act
(CFRA)
- Processes accommodations and the
Americans with Disability Act (ADA)
- Processes associate
separations/terminations
- Administers temporary labor
program.
- Assists with associate relations
and investigations.
- Assists Employee Stock Ownership
Program administration and inquiries.
- General assistance and back-up as
needed.
Education/Experience
- Spanish speaking-bi-lingual

- Previous Human Resources
experience - min. 3-5 years (required)
- Understanding of basic HR
practices (employment, leaves of absence administration, benefits.)
(required)
- Proficiency
in MS Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.) (required)
- Communication:
strong written and verbal communication (required)
- Soft
Skills: Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask in a fast-paced
environment, attention to detail. (required)
- Previous retail experience
(preferred)
- Bachelor's degree (preferred)
- HRIS
Experience required, preferably with ADP-Workforce Now
Compensation
Salary range: will commensurate with experience

Physical Environment/Working Conditions
Can requires extensive use of back, legs, knees, arms, feet and hands for lifting, stooping, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, pulling, pushing, reaching overhead, and walking. Unassisted lifting limits up to 50 lbs. Individuals may be required to do any or all of these situations throughout the work day, with an emphasis on walking and standing for a major portion of the day.
