Hello, I'm Rachel. I'm the assistant manager at Armstrong Garden Centers in Tustin. A typical day here involves communicating with our associates to make sure that not only their goals but the store's goals are reached on a daily basis and that includes and features the importance of helping our guests succeed in their gardening. My favorite part about working at Armstrong Garden Centers is meeting all different types of people that have shared connections with plants. I feel like everyone to a varying degrees has some sort of relationship with nature and with plants and it's really cool to bring people together and connect on that level. Also the plants we have really cool variety we bring in every day, every week, every season and just seeing that really cool turn around learning so much everyday is what makes working here very special.

We've been growing since our company planted its roots in 1889. We serve our communities through retail stores that operate under the brand Armstrong Garden Centers in California and Pike Nurseries in Georiga and North Carolina. In addition to our retail stores, we have growing operations; Armstrong Growers and Pike Nurseries Farm.
Armstrong Garden Centers consists of 29 retail locations in Southern California. Pike Nurseries has 19 retail locations, 15 in the metro Atlanta Georgia area and 4 in the Charlotte North Carolina area along with a full service landscape installation division.
