Shipping Information
You will be contacted by an Armstrong Garden representative to arrange a shipping date and time. The Armstrong Garden representative will also review needed preparation for your garden project.
Armstrong Garden Centers will arrange shipping from the appropriate vendor (Al's Garden Art or Southland Sod). Armstrong Garden Centers is not liable for damages that occur during shipping.
Returns Policy
Al's Garden Art Guarantee
Al's Garden Art, Inc. guarantees its product for a one (1) year period. This guarantee covers the pump and the product against manufacturer defects. The pump warranty is void should the plug be cut off to accommodate hard wiring.
Al's Garden Art, Inc. guarantees the installation/labor for a ninety-day period. In the event that a problem should occur (i.e. pump failure, cracks, etc.) within this 90-day period, a crew will be sent to repair the problem at no charge. After the 90-day period, a charge will incur for labor only (up to the one year guarantee). If it is deemed to be the fault of the customer that the problem has occurred (i.e.: debris clogging the pump, bleach or chlorine being used in the fountain, improper foundation causing the fountain to tilt and/or fall over, etc.) a charge will occur.
Sod Guarantee
Southland Sod Farms will provide replacement sod at no charge as needed to replace any dead areas of a Marathon Lawn within one year of installation.
The following conditions will apply:
- Lawn owner must demonstrate that he has made a reasonable effort to care for the lawn properly in terms of installation, watering, fertilizing, and mowing. Fertilizing with Marathon fertilizers is recommended.
- Lawn owner must notify Southland Sod within 10 days of the first appearance of dead lawn areas.
- Lawns without a permanent underground irrigation system will not qualify. An automatic controller is recommended.
- Lawns in shaded areas limiting more than 50% of sunlight will not qualify.
- Lawn areas burned by pet urine, or improper application of fertilizers or chemicals will not qualify.
- Lawn areas that have been previously replaced under this guarantee will not qualify.
This guarantee is limited to supplying replacement sod only. No labor charges, pesticide treatments, delivery, or other costs are covered.
How to Make a Claim:
When brown areas begin to appear contact Armstrong Garden Centers for advice. If we are unable to help you, call Southland Sods customer service representative at 805-488-3585. They will go through a series of diagnostic questions by phone (we cannot make service calls) to identify the cause of sod failure and offer a recommendation for correcting the problem. This may include changing your irrigation schedule, applying a fungicide, adding a sprinkler, etc. You will be required to implement the recommendation and allow at least two weeks to verify its success before replacement sod can be arranged.
Once the problem has been solved call Southland Sods customer service representative to schedule the replacement sod. They will arrange a date to add your replacement sod at no charge to the regular deliveries going to your retailer.
